Become a reserve firefighter for the Mokelumne Fire District. As a reserve firefighter, you will conduct shift work with the on-duty paid staff. This consists of responding to calls, cleaning and maintaining station grounds, training on fire ground operations, and assisting paid staff with day-to-day operations. As a reserve firefighter, you shall attend two drills a month and one 24-hour shift. This is a minimum requirement, however, more than one 24-hour shift can be done a month. The drills will be on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month and they always start at 1830hrs.
